I am a tenure-track faculty member and dotoral supervisor at School of Mathematical Sciences, Zhejiang University. I was a Chowla Research Assistant Professor in the mathematics department of Penn State from Aug 2019 to June 2022. I obtained my Ph.D. in mathematics from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree from Nanjing University.
My research interest is Numerical Analysis:
Finite Element Methods: Adaptive FEMs, A Posteriori Error Estimates, Iterative Solvers, Finite Element Exterior Calculus (FEEC), Finite Element Tensor Calculus (FETC), Superconvergence, Discontinuous Galerkin, Fractional Laplacian, Boundary Element Method, Sparse Grids;
Structure-Preserving Methods: Energy-Preserving Methods for dynamical systems, FEEC;
Model reduction of parametric PDEs: Reduced Basis Method, Empirical Interpolation Method;
Approximation and algorithm: Learning Algorithms, Rational Approximation, Neural Network Approximation.
