I am a tenure-track faculty member and dotoral supervisor at School of Mathematical Sciences, Zhejiang University. I was a Chowla Research Assistant Professor in the mathematics department of Penn State from Aug 2019 to June 2022. I obtained my Ph.D. in mathematics from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree from Nanjing University.
My research interest is Numerical Analysis:
Finite Element Methods, including Adaptive FEMs, A Posteriori Error Estimates, Iterative Solvers, Finite Element Exterior Calculus (FEEC), Finite Element Tensor Calculus (FETC), Superconvergence, Discontinuous Galerkin, Nonlocal FEMs, Sparse Grids;
Structure-Preserving Methods, such as Energy-Preserving Methods for dynamical systems and FEEC;
Model reduction of parametric PDEs, such as Reduced Basis Method and Empirical Interpolation Method;
Approximation and algorithms for more general problems, such as Learning Algorithms, Rational and Neural Network Approximation.
