Hi, I am Liying Zhang!

I am a PhD candidate in Behavioral and Health Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. I am supervised by Prof Werner B.F. Brouwer and Dr Arthur E. Attema.

My research integrates the fields of economics, health, and psychology. I am interested in promoting healthy behaviors and improving health state valuation through lab and online experiments, with an emphasis on understanding how psychological mechanisms and time preferences influence health-related decisions. I also work with survey data, combining applied microeconomics with behavioral insights to evaluate health policy.

I am on the 2024-2025 job market.
