Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the AI Living Room Designer Studio application (the "App") collects, uses, transmits, and protects your data, in strict compliance with App Store Guidelines 5.1.1(i) and 5.1.2(i).Â
By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
1. What Data We Collect
The App is designed to minimize data collection. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect personal identifiers such as your name, phone number, email, or physical address.
The only data the App collects and transmits is:
- Text Prompts: The textual descriptions you manually type into the App to generate living room designs and 3D decor concepts.
- Usage Data (Analytics/Crash Logs): Anonymous, non-identifying technical data (e.g., app crash reports) to help us improve app stability.
2. How We Collect Data
- Text Prompts: Collected directly from you, only when you actively type a description into the prompt box and tap the "Generate" button.
- Usage Data: Collected automatically in the background through standard secure crash reporting tools (only if opted in via your device settings).
3. All Uses of Your Data
- Text Prompts: Your text prompts are used exclusively to generate the visual living room 3D design you requested. We do not use your prompts for advertising, marketing, nor do we link them to your personal identity.
- Usage Data: Used solely for debugging, improving app performance, and ensuring a smooth user experience.
4. Third-Party Data Sharing and Equal Protection (AI Services)
To generate high-quality AI images, your text prompts must be processed by external artificial intelligence providers. The App does not perform image generation locally on your device.
Before any text prompt is sent, the App presents an explicit, in-app consent modal disclosing exactly what is sent and to whom. By tapping "I Agree", you grant permission for the App to transmit your text prompt to the following specific third parties:
- OpenAI, LLC: Your text prompt is sent to OpenAI to enhance and optimize the interior design description for better visual results.
- Replicate, Inc. / Black Forest Labs: The enhanced text prompt is sent to Replicate's API to render and generate the final 3D image.
Equal Protection Guarantee: We confirm that the third parties we share your data with (OpenAI, LLC and Replicate, Inc.) provide the same or equal protection of your user data as stated in this Privacy Policy. They are strictly prohibited from using your prompts to identify you personally, and they process this data securely and momentarily solely to fulfill the API request (generating your image).
5. Explicit User Consent
We prioritize your consent. The App will never transmit your text prompts to OpenAI or Replicate without first presenting a clear disclosure and obtaining your explicit permission via an in-app consent screen. If you decline, your data will not be sent, though the AI generation feature will not function.
6. Data Storage and Deletion
- Local Storage: Generated images and your design history are saved locally on your device. We do not store your generated images on our remote servers.
- Third-Party Retention: Our AI partners process the data momentarily via API. Standard API policies dictate that such data is not retained for training public models and is purged within short, strict timeframes.
- Your Rights: Because all generated data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all your data simply by deleting the App from your device or clearing the generated gallery inside the App.
7. Photos Library Access
If you choose to save a generated design, the App will request "Add Only" or "Write" permission to your Photos library.
- The App only saves the specific design image you selected.
- The App does not read, scan, upload, or modify any of your existing personal photos.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or regulatory requirements. Any material changes will be communicated via an update to the App.
