Abstract

This session overviews the CEI Summer/Winter School which was held 1 to 9 June 2022 and includes discussion of:

* How the Summer/Winter School was run for nine days across four time zones and five nodes (face to face and online) using G Drive as the technology.

* How the content was organised to cover the development of community economies scholarship since the 1990s and the application of foundational concepts.

* The teaching and learning strategies used, including examples of learning activities.

* The lessons learned for future Summer/Winter Schools.

There will also be reflections from facilitators and participants.

This session will be of interest to those involved in teaching community economies, and in graduate education and activist training.
