Abstract
For several years, we observe the emergence (or revaluation) of initiatives that propose certain socio-ecological innovations through actions (legal, training, economic, innovation, protection, etc.) that have an impact on one or more spheres of the causes of the Anthropocene (energy metabolisms, city metabolisms, techno-economic changes, lifestyles, governance/institutionality) or the consequences of the Anthropocene (in the air, water, biodiversity, soils, climate changes). Within the framework of the Fondecyt project N° 11180256, an exploratory registry of ecosocial transition initiatives was carried out, which led to the development of a virtual platform: the Ecosocial Atlas (ESatlas): www.ecosocialatlas.org. The objective of the "ESatlas" platform is to register, map and characterize the Initiatives for Sustainability in different countries, through the construction of a collaborative atlas with open data that allows gathering current and past initiatives that have been raised to participate to the construction of a socio-ecologically sustainable world. "ESatlas"; seeks to give visibility and understand the contents of initiatives for sustainability through an interactive web platform where people are invited to collaborate and whose data is freely available for academic, political or social use.
