Abstract
(EN) In this session we will explain the process of creation of CERNLA, guiding us by the following general question: What is being learned in collective work? In order to address this question, we will first problematize the notion of “Latin America”, presenting it both as a placeholder and an unfinished geopolitical category. We will then focus on explaining the ways in which we have been including in our sessions people who are interested in thinking collectively, even though they may not reside in the geography known as Latin America. We will discuss how these inclusions have allowed us to continue thinking in ways otherwise not available. We will next describe the phases of our collective work and subsequently, we will describe a working, in progress, methodology constructed to unveil difficult issues presented in our Region´s realities, and also very current to CERN international debates (for example, what “against all forms of oppression” may mean). We will end by analyzing what we have achieved as a group and what still remains as questions or difficulties in our work. It is a one-hour session where the first half is devoted to a presentation and the second to a reflection and dialogue on the ways in which other regionals are working within CERN INTERNACIONAL.
(ES) En esta sesión explicaremos el proceso por el cual fuimos creando la Regional América Latina en CERN. Nos guiaremos para comenzar por esta pregunta general: "¿Qué estamos aprendiendo en el proceso de trabajo colectivo para generar conocimiento(s)?" Primero vamos a problematizar sobre la noción de América Latina, teniendo en cuenta que esa denominación actúa a la vez como una categoría en uso pero que continúa presentando la situación de estar en continua definición, tensión y desafío. Luego vamos a presentar cómo hicimos para ir generando un espacio abierto y plural en nuestra Regional, inclusive integrando personas que no residen en los territorios de América Latina. En ese sentido, vamos a problematizar sobre cómo el hecho de integrar personas de otros lugares / espacios nos permite continuar definiendo qué hacemos y cómo, ya que estas perspectivas en encuentro nos alertan sobre aspectos que de de otro modo no se harían visibles. Y por último vamos a dar cuenta del método usado en las sesiones de este año para ir revisando, colectivamente, cómo en nuestros territorios existen una enorme cantidad de situaciones que se posicionan efectivamente contra toda forma de opresión, el teme elegido para analizar durante este año. Daremos cuenta de las situaciones que hemos analizado y de lo que aún permanece sin poder ser del todo comprendido, explicado o interpretado. Durante la primera hora se presentan estas nociones y en la segunda media hora abrimos a reflexión. Esperamos que participen personas de otras Regiones de CERN INTERNACIONAL.
