We adhere to a principle of minimum server-side data collection. The following personal data is exclusively stored and processed **locally on your device** and is **never** transmitted to our servers:
**Precise and Approximate Location Data:** Your geographic location (accessed via permissions like `ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION` and `ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION`) is used solely to fetch and display the weather forecast specific to your current location. This data is not saved or shared by Live Weather.
**In-App Communications/LockScreen Notifications:** Any content related to instant messaging features or notifications is only processed locally to fulfill the immediate function (e.g., displaying weather on the lock screen, subject to your explicit permission).
Your local PII is deleted from your device when you uninstall the App.
When you use the App, we automatically collect anonymous technical and usage data to monitor performance and inform development. This non-personally identifiable information includes:
Device Identifiers (e.g., Unique Device ID).
Mobile operating system (OS) type and version.
IP address (used to infer general regional, non-specific location).
Usage patterns, such as the features accessed and the time spent on the App.
We may process crash logs on our server-side to diagnose and fix technical issues. These logs are stripped of PII, and we commit to full deletion upon user request.
