This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the Application and tells You about Your privacy rights.
We built the SmartSave app as a Freemium app. The core service is provided at no cost, with optional premium features available via in-app purchases.
We do not require you to create an account, nor do we directly collect, store, or transmit your personal identity, location data, or login credentials to our own servers. The Application connects securely to our private proxy server to fetch electricity pricing data, and no user-specific data is logged during these requests.
However, to provide essential functionality (such as push notifications and advertising), the Application utilizes third-party services that may collect certain device identifiers automatically.
While we do not run our own analytics or tracking servers, the Application does use third-party libraries and SDKs provided by Google that may collect information used to identify you, serve ads, or process payments.
We use the following third-party services, and we strongly recommend reviewing their Privacy Policies:
Google AdMob: Used to serve banner advertisements in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect device information and advertising IDs to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. AdMob Privacy Policy
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Used to send you price alerts and daily forecasts. FCM generates and stores a unique instance ID for your device to route notifications properly. Firebase Privacy Policy
Google Play Billing: Used to securely process in-app purchases for our Premium features. All payment data is handled entirely by Google; we never see or store your credit card information. Google Payments Privacy Policy
We value your trust in using our Application, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means to ensure the security of the network requests made to our pricing servers. While we do not store your personal data ourselves, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take the necessary actions.
