If you want a secure, open-air fit that keeps you aware of your surroundings during high-intensity runs, choose LIUP Open-Ear Earbuds; if you need a tangle-free design with deep bass and maximum battery longevity for long commutes, choose Zopsc Neckband Earbuds.
• LIUP Open-Ear Earbuds: Offers an ultra-lightweight 4.8g clip-on design with active noise cancellation and 48 hours of total playtime, but lacks the physical isolation of traditional in-ear buds. Best for runners who need situational awareness and zero ear fatigue.
• Zopsc Neckband Earbuds: Delivers a secure magnetic neckband with IPX5 waterproofing and stable Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, though it requires wearing a band around your neck. Best for gym-goers who prefer a classic in-ear feel and don't mind the extra hardware.
The LIUP LP2 is engineered for people who have given up on true wireless earbuds because they simply won't stay put. The core design philosophy here is freedom from pain and pressure. By utilizing a skin-friendly silicone C-bridge and offering three interchangeable ear tips (S, M, L), the brand claims this headset adapts to 99% of ear shapes. This isn't just marketing fluff; for someone running a marathon or doing intense cross-training, the ability to forget the device is there is the primary selling point. At just 4.8 grams per earbud, which is lighter than a standard quarter, the weight distribution feels negligible even after an hour of use.
This product shines specifically for outdoor athletes and commuters who prioritize safety. The open-ear architecture means you aren't sealed off from the world. You can hear traffic, other runners, or gym announcements while still enjoying your music. Despite the open design, the inclusion of DSP Noise Cancellation technology aims to block out roughly 90% of background noise, ensuring call clarity even in crowded spaces. The 10mm dynamic drivers are tuned to provide robust bass and studio-grade clarity without the "plugged" sensation that often causes headaches during long listening sessions.

You should buy these if you are looking for true wireless earbuds for workout scenarios where sweat resistance is critical. With an IPX4 rating, they can withstand heavy sweat and sudden rain, making them ideal for hiking or outdoor gym sessions. The battery life is also a standout feature, offering 8 hours on a single charge and a massive 48 hours when including the charging case. If you ever find yourself in the middle of a run with dead batteries, the 5-minute quick charge capability provides one hour of playback, eliminating the anxiety of power loss. However, if you require absolute silence or prefer the physical seal of an in-ear bud to isolate sound completely, this open design might not be the right fit for you.
The Zopsc neckband earbuds cater to a different set of priorities, focusing heavily on organization and a traditional audio experience. The defining characteristic of this product is the magnetic neckband design. When you take the earbuds out of your ears, the magnets snap them together, keeping the cable neatly bundled and preventing the frustration of tangled wires. This makes them incredibly practical for people who toss their headphones into a bag or pocket frequently. The flexible neckband contours comfortably around the neck, distributing the weight evenly so that you don't feel the strain on your head or ears during extended wear.
For those seeking the best bluetooth headset for workout that offers a secure, in-ear connection, the Zopsc model delivers a solid performance. The IPX5 waterproof rating is a step up from many competitors, offering superior protection against sweat and water splashes compared to lower-rated devices. This durability ensures they perform well during high-intensity intervals or rainy outdoor runs. The audio profile leans towards enhanced stereo bass and crisp highs, powered by advanced drivers that create an immersive listening experience. Whether you are listening to motivational playlists or podcasts, the sound quality is designed to keep you engaged throughout the exercise routine.
Connectivity is another strong suit for this option. Utilizing Bluetooth 5.2 technology, these earbuds maintain a stable connection up to 33 feet away, minimizing dropouts during movement. The low latency ensures that video syncs perfectly with audio, which is a nice bonus if you watch tutorials or stream content while working out. The battery life supports about 8 hours of continuous music playback, and the standby time is rated at approximately 300 hours, meaning they hold a charge for weeks when not in use. You should choose these if you prefer the security of an in-ear seal and want a device that stays organized when not in use. However, if you dislike having a band around your neck or need to go completely wire-free, this style will feel restrictive compared to the open-ear alternative.

After weighing the specs and use cases, I would personally buy the LIUP Open-Ear Earbuds. While the Zopsc neckband is a reliable, sturdy option with excellent magnetic convenience, the LIUP LP2 represents a significant leap forward in comfort and battery life for active users. The 48-hour battery life alone solves the biggest pain point of wireless audio—running out of power mid-workout—and the open-ear design eliminates the ear fatigue that plagues most in-ear solutions. For anyone using clip on earbuds for workout purposes, the ability to stay connected to the world while enjoying robust bass and crystal-clear calls makes the LIUP the superior choice for modern fitness lifestyles.
Yes, the LIUP features DSP Noise Cancellation tech that blocks 90% of background noise, allowing for clear calls and focused listening even in crowded environments.

Both options are water-resistant; the Zopsc carries an IPX5 rating for sweat and light rain, while the LIUP is IPX4 rated to withstand heavy sweat and sudden downpours.
Only the LIUP Open-Ear Earbuds support dual-device connections, allowing you to seamlessly switch between a phone and a laptop without re-pairing.
