Haidong Liu(刘海东)
Now I am an associate professor at Sun Yat-sen University, China. My research is in algebraic geometry, especially in birational geometry. Recently I have been interested in abundance conjecture and related topics, generalized abundance conjecture, Serrano's conjecture, Kawamata-Miyaoka type inequality, and classification of terminal and canonical Fano threefolds.
I Signed on The Cost of Knowledge. I won't cooperate with Elsevier by publishing, refereeing and doing editorial work.
We are standing at a threshold akin to the Industrial Revolution, and may be facing another "crisis in mathematics". How to reshape the understanding of mathematical research is an urgent matter for the mathematical community.
