National Honor Society (NHS) is a highly regarded organization that holds a strong belief to give back to the community. As the nation's premier organization in recognizing outstanding high school students, National Honor Society is more than just an honor roll; NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership and character. These four pillars of high standards are the same characteristics of membership since it's beginning in 1921.

Our chapter focuses primarily on assisting LHS and the community. We volunteer our time to help those in need by tutoring and service projects like making cards for patients in the hospital, donating clothes to the student body and more.
We're always looking for new ways to improve or to help the community. If you have any questions or comments about NHS or our chapter please contact our advisers, Ms. Sam Adams-Berger at sadams-berger@lps.k12.co.us or Mr. Mike Puchino at mpuchino@lps.k12.co.us
