How Your Data Is Stored
Local Storage Only
All of your child's artwork, coloring progress, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to enable iCloud sync.
Optional iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync in the app settings, your artwork and progress will be stored in your personal iCloud account. This is:
Controlled by Apple's iCloud service
Encrypted and secure
Only accessible by devices signed into your Apple ID
Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the app settings.
Permissions We Request
Photo Library Access
When you choose to import a photo to turn into pixel art, Little Pixels requests access to your Photo Library. Photos you select are:
Processed locally on your device
Never uploaded to any server
Never shared with anyone
Only used to create pixel art within the app
Camera Access
When you choose to take a photo to turn into pixel art, Little Pixels requests access to your device camera. Photos you take are:
Saved to your Photo Library
Processed locally on your device
Never uploaded to any server
Never shared with anyone
You can deny these permissions and still use the app with our pre-installed images.
Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Little Pixels is designed for children under 13 years of age and fully complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).We do not:
Collect any personal information from children
Allow children to make their information publicly available
Require children to provide information to access app features
Use any third-party analytics or advertising services
Parental Control: All features operate locally. Parents can control what photos their child can access through iOS device settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos).
Data Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
Your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID) protects your data
Data is not transmitted over the internet (except optional iCloud sync)
No third parties have access to your artwork or information
Third-Party Services
Little Pixels does not use any third-party services for:
Analytics
Advertising
Crash reporting
Social media integration
Payment processing (one-time purchase handled by Apple)
The only third-party service is Apple's iCloud (if you choose to enable it).
