Little Lions Child Care Center understands the value of early childhood education. We believe that early childhood education is essential in establishing the skills necessary to become curious learners. Little Lions offers a safe, convenient, and developmentally appropriate environment for children of all ages.
Our infant program focuses on providing infants with a nurturing environment where they thrive. We provide individualized care, and teachers work hard to build the child’s daily schedule being consistent with the schedule at home. In addition to providing individualized care, our program focuses on individualized development. This includes creating goals for each child and planning activities that help to meet those goals. Teachers will share this information with families via the lesson plan, using the child’s initials to keep confidentiality in mind.
Children of this age are learning by using their senses at each level. Teachers understand that the children are continually developing and changing with every experience they are given. We provide our toddlers and two year olds with a variety of activities to keep them active throughout the day. These activities include songs and stories, sensory, art, math and dramatic play. Teachers are teaching the children through play based learning focusing on open ended questions to enhance their developing language.
Little Lions CCC strives to provide the children with added activities and structure as they prepare to enter 4K. Through free play opportunities, the children are actively engaged in developing self-esteem and social skills. Children work on increasing on their attention spans, as they participate in small and large group activities each day. Children are involved in active hands-on activities as they develop math, language and science skills
