At Little Bloomers, we understand that infants have their own individual needs and each child develops differently. We provide each child with a safe and loving learning environment. Each day will be filled with fun and exciting adventures to help your child develop.
Our infant classroom focuses on developing secure trusting relationships with each individual child, which builds a foundation for success in all other areas of development. When children have well-established trusting relationships they learn how to communicate, are able to develop and maintain new relationships, build their self-confidence, and feel safe to learn and explore.
We have an open-door policy with families because we want the infants at Little Bloomers to have a trusting relationship with both their teachers and their families. Nursing mothers are welcome to come in during the day to the nurse in our private nursing room.
Parents are welcome to check in with classroom teachers as often as they would like. Communication is key. We want parents to have face-to-face conversations about their child's day or development with us on a daily basis.
Our infant classroom serves children, ages 6 weeks to 1 year old. We have 1:4 (or less) teacher to child ratio with a maximum group size of 8. We have a separate napping room attached to the main infant room to help children rest well.
