Lite PDF File Box (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is a application for managing PDF documents conveniently. We value the importance of your personal information and are committed to protecting your privacy. 1. Information Collection and Use

The core principle of the App is to process your documents locally on your device, thereby protecting your data privacy.

•   Local Processing: All core document processing functions of the App, including but not limited to listing, viewing, previewing, sorting, searching, deleting, renaming, sharing, favoriting PDFs, scanning to PDF, image to PDF conversion, PDF splitting and merging, are performed locally on your device. We do not collect, upload, store, or share the content of your documents to our servers or any third party for these purposes. All your documents and data remain securely stored on your device.

•   Required System Permissions: To enable full app functionality, we may request permission to access certain features on your device. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device's system settings.

    ◦   Storage Permission: Used to access, read, save, rename, and delete existing PDF/image files on your device, as well as to save newly generated or processed PDF files to your specified location. This is essential for the App's operation.

    ◦   Camera Permission: Used only when you actively choose the "Scan to PDF" feature, to invoke the camera for capturing document images. The captured images are processed only within the App and are not uploaded.

    ◦   Photo/Media Access Permission: Used to access images on your device for the "Image to PDF" function. We only access the specific images you select.

•   "Recent" and "Favorites" Features: These features only record the file paths or identifiers of documents you have interacted with, locally on your device, to facilitate quick access. This information does not leave your device.

•   Share Function: When you use the "Share" function, you can choose to share your document via other applications (e.g., email, messaging apps). This action is initiated by you and handled by your device's operating system. We do not intercept or access the content you share.

•   Information We Collect: To provide services, improve product experience, serve advertisements, and perform data analysis, we may collect the following non-personally identifiable information:

    ◦   Device and Network Information: Including general geographic location (not precise), IP address, Android Advertising ID (AAID) or Android ID. This information is used for ad delivery, statistical analysis, and fraud prevention.

    ◦   Usage and Diagnostics Information: Including app crash logs, feature usage frequency (e.g., number of times features are tapped), app performance data (e.g., launch speed), and in-app interaction behaviors (e.g., button clicks, page views). This data is anonymized and aggregated, containing no personally identifiable information or document content, and is primarily used to analyze app stability, optimize product features, and improve user experience.

•   Advertising Services: The App contains advertisements. To deliver relevant ads, we integrate third-party advertising partners, such as Google AdMob, AppLovin MAX, Bigo, etc. These partners may use the aforementioned device information (e.g., Android Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads. You can reset or limit ad tracking in your device's system settings.

2. Information Storage

All your documents and locally processed data are stored locally on your device's storage. You have full control over your data. This information will be removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data.

The anonymized usage statistics and diagnostics information we collect are stored securely on our servers or those of our third-party service providers, with reasonable technical measures implemented to prevent their loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
