Modbury Lions Club, formed in October 1975 and Chartered on 23rd January 1976, is a community service Club based in the northeast suburbs of Adelaide.
Lions are men and women dedicated to serving those in need, whether in their own community or around the world. Membership provides an opportunity to meet and work with other individuals in a spirit of fellowship, striving toward a common goal of helping those in need.

Meetings
We have two regular meetings each month
A Business/Work Meeting on the second Wednesday – 7:00pm at the Akora Log Cabin, Roebling Street, Modbury Heights
A Social/Dinner meeting on the third Tuesday – 7:00pm at The Grove Tavern, Golden Grove Rd, Surrey Downs. This meeting includes partners, usually with an informative guest speaker from the community.
The public are welcome to attend as a guest of a Lion. Guests often attend to either speak about what they are doing in the community or to learn a little more about who Lions are and what they do.

Becoming a Lion
Lions club members are people who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Their volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing unmet health and education needs worldwide.
