The Lions Club of Bangalore Sanjaynagar is one of the 46,385 clubs, which falls within district 317 F. Our club has taken up numerous service activities in the field of adult education, assistance to old-age homes, orphanages, physically handicapped, adoption of schools, conducting eye camps, breast cancer checkup camp, medical check-up camps, blood donation camps, mobile tele ECG service in rural areas, awarness programes - on organ donation, blood stem cell donation, infertility etc .
The club through its "Bangalore Sanjaynagar Lions Charitable Trust" was regularly bringing out the directory of voluntary blood donors with the first edition released in 1996. The website was launched along with the fourth edition on 18-07-1999. www.LionsBloodLine.com enables easy access through internet and allows people to enroll online as voluntary blood donors.
Seventh edition of the directory of voluntary blood donors was released on 06-Jun-2004. Over 5200 donors enrolled and also responded to the requirement of blood for needy patients in various hospitals. In the recent past, we felt the need to update the site to harness latest technologies. We have therefore embarked on a massive redesign of the website. We welcome your ideas and suggestions.
