Doctoral Researcher - Robotics and Machine Learning
I am currently a doctoral researcher in Robotics and Machine Learning at the Chair of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), University of Leoben, Austria. Prior to joining CPS, I worked as a research intern at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany.
In 2020, I earned an M.Sc. degree in Automation and Robotics, a speciality in control for Green Mechatronics (GreeM) at the University of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (UBFC), France. In 2012, I bagged a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering from the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria.
Following my bachelor's graduation, I completed a one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program before joining the Cifman Institute of Technology and Management, Lagos, Nigeria as an instructor for Computer Hardware Engineering Technology in early 2014. From 2015 to 2018, I worked as a Mechatronics Instructor and Field Service Engineer at Skill "G" Nigeria Limited, where I participated in the training of over 300 Engineers, Lecturers, and Technologists across 73 Federal & State Universities and 51 Polytechnics in Nigeria on the use of Skill "G" Science, Engineering Technology, and Vocational Education Training Equipment.
I am a registered Engineer by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), a Corporate Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and a student member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). I am also a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
Over the past 10 years of my career, I have had a great deal of research and technical experience in the area of robotics, human-autonomous agent interaction, and large language models (LLMs). I have received a couple of training on AI, ML, and robotics from experts in the field.
