If you want a wired, audiophile-grade experience with a balanced sound signature and premium build materials for critical listening, choose Linsoul Kiwi Ears Cadenza; if you need lightweight wireless earbuds for side sleepers with all-day battery life and modern connectivity, choose ICESOMNUS Sabbat E16.
• Linsoul Kiwi Ears Cadenza: Offers a 10mm Beryllium dynamic driver for high-resolution audio and a detachable cable system, but lacks Bluetooth or active noise cancellation features. Best for the music enthusiast who prioritizes pure sound quality over convenience.
• ICESOMNUS Sabbat E16: Features a hybrid coaxial dual-driver setup with aptX Bluetooth 5.2 and up to 30 hours of total battery life, though it relies on plastic construction rather than metal. Best for the active listener or side sleeper who needs wireless freedom and long playtime.
The Linsoul Kiwi Ears Cadenza is designed specifically for those who refuse to compromise on sonic fidelity. At its heart lies a large 10mm Beryllium diaphragm, a material chosen for its incredible tensile strength and surface tension. This choice results in a driver that responds faster and lighter than standard alternatives, delivering what I consider a pinnacle dynamic driver performance. The sound profile is not just loud; it is acoustically tuned to a balanced signature that adheres to modern audiophile standards. You get powerful bass with a quick decay that prevents muddiness, allowing the mids to remain rich, lush, and incredibly detailed without any bloat.
The treble response here follows a Harman-reference standard style, offering a natural curvature that avoids fatigue while still revealing micro-details and air in the recording. This makes the Cadenza an excellent tool for musicians and serious listeners who spend hours analyzing tracks. The physical design supports this precision with a 3D-printed housing structure that fits the driver perfectly. It comes with a 4-core braided copper cable featuring a 3.5mm single-ended termination, ensuring compatibility with most smartphones and computers. Because it uses a detachable 0.78 2-pin connector, you can swap cables later if you want to upgrade your gear, extending the longevity of the unit significantly.

However, this focus on wired fidelity means you are tethered to your device. There is no wireless technology built into the Cadenza, so you cannot enjoy true freedom of movement during workouts or commutes. It also lacks environmental noise cancellation, meaning ambient sounds will be audible unless you rely on the passive isolation of the metal enclosure. If you are looking for a pair of bluetooth earbuds for side sleepers or a hands-free headset for calls on the go, this product simply does not fit that workflow. It is strictly for moments when you can sit down, plug in, and listen.
In contrast, the ICESOMNUS Sabbat E16 is engineered for the modern user who demands versatility without sacrificing audio depth. This model utilizes a coaxial dual-driver architecture, combining a 10mm dynamic driver with a balanced armature driver in a single assembly. The dynamic unit handles the low-end punch, while the balanced armature component brings out clear vocals and delicate details in the upper frequencies. This hybrid approach creates a wider soundstage and impressive clarity that rivals much more expensive options, making it suitable for audiophiles who also need portability.
Connectivity is where this product truly shines for the average consumer. It runs on Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.2, supporting aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs for stable transmission up to 10 meters away. With an audio latency of just 40 milliseconds, it handles movies and gaming with minimal delay. The battery performance is equally robust, offering over six hours of playback on a single charge from the earbuds themselves, which expands to a total of 30 hours when using the charging case. The case supports both USB-C fast charging and Qi wireless charging, adding a layer of convenience for daily use.
For someone seeking lightweight wireless earbuds for side sleepers, the E16 presents a compelling option due to its in-ear wearing design and compact form factor. The plastic enclosure keeps the weight manageable compared to heavier metal alternatives, and the ergonomic shape aims to provide comfort during long listening sessions. It includes CVC call noise reduction technology, making it a viable with mic headset for side sleepers who might take calls while resting. However, the trade-off is that the build material is plastic rather than the premium metal found in other tiers, and the sound, while balanced, relies on digital processing and wireless transmission which some purists may find slightly less immediate than a direct wired connection.
