Multiscale Multiphysics Material Mechanics

Welcome to Lin Li Research Group

Li's research interests lie in multiscale material mechanics modeling and experimentation, and computational and data-driven advancement of structural material design for use in extreme environments. The expertise extends to the mechanics of semiconductor and energy materials and multiphysics modeling aimed at understanding material degradation. Li's research spans various material categories, including metals, alloys, amorphous materials, nanocomposites, and functional materials.

Perspective Students

Current PhD Openings

I am looking for self-motivated Ph.D. students with strong background and interests in the following research areas:

If interested, please contact Prof. Lin Li at lin.li.10@asu.edu along with your detailed CV, undergraduate/graduate transcripts, and representive publications.

ASU Undergradaute and Master's Students

Our group hosts ASU undergraduate and Master's students through Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI), Master’s Opportunity for Research in Engineering (MORE), and Barrett The Honors College Thesis.

If interested, please contact Prof. Lin Li at lin.li.10@asu.edu along with a brief description of your research interest, your detailed CV, undergraduate/graduate transcripts, and representive publications. We can then set up an initial meeting to discuss possible research collaborations and opportunities.
