Welcome to LinkScope.

LinkScope (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a utility application that provides web browsing, link access, and file downloading and management features.

LinkScope does not require users to create or register an account.

To provide web browsing and file downloading features, LinkScope may request the following permissions:

- Internet access: Used to open webpages, search for content, and download files;

- Photo, video, or file access: Used to save, view, manage, or export files downloaded by the user;

- Notification access: Used to display download progress, completion, or failure notifications.

The App only uses these permissions when necessary to provide the relevant features.

You may disable these permissions at any time through your device’s system settings. However, some features may not function properly after the relevant permissions are disabled.

3. Web Browsing and Third-Party Services

LinkScope allows users to access third-party websites, search engines, and online services available on the internet.

When you visit a third-party website, that website may process your data using cookies, device information, network information, or other technologies in accordance with its own privacy policy.

We do not control the data-processing practices of third-party websites. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies and terms of service of any third-party websites or services before using them.

LinkScope is not responsible for the content, security, privacy practices, or services of third-party websites.

4. Downloaded Content

LinkScope only provides tools for downloading files and managing them locally on the user’s device.

Users are responsible for ensuring that any content they download, save, use, or share:

- Is owned by the user;

- Has been legally authorized for use;

- Does not infringe the copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party;

- Complies with the laws and regulations of the user’s country or region.

We do not actively access, review, or monitor files downloaded and stored locally on the user’s device.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade users’ personal information, browsing history, or downloaded files.

When a user actively uses features such as sharing or “Open with another app,” the relevant files may be sent to a third-party application or service selected by the user.

These actions are initiated by the user. Once a file is transferred to a third-party application or service, the privacy policy of that third party will apply.

6. Data Storage and Deletion

Browsing history, bookmarks, download records, App settings, and downloaded files may be stored locally on the user’s device.

Users may delete relevant information by:

- Clearing browsing history or download records within LinkScope;

- Deleting downloaded files;

- Clearing the App’s data through the device settings;

- Uninstalling LinkScope.

Please note that uninstalling the App or clearing its data may permanently delete certain local records or files.

Because we cannot access data stored locally on your device, we are unable to remotely recover, modify, or delete such content.

7. Children’s Privacy

LinkScope is not specifically designed for children under the minimum age required by applicable local laws.

We do not knowingly or actively collect personal information from children. Parents or legal guardians should supervise children’s use of the App and their access to the internet.

8. Information Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information processed by the App.

However, no internet transmission, device storage system, or software system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should properly protect their devices, account passwords, and downloaded files to prevent unauthorized access.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App’s features, legal requirements, or data-processing practices.

The updated Privacy Policy will display a new “Last Updated” date. By continuing to use LinkScope after an update, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and understood the updated Privacy Policy.
