LinkGuard Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LinkGuard handles information when you use the app.
App Overview
LinkGuard is a QR and URL safety checking app. The app allows users to manually enter a URL, scan a QR code using the camera, or select an image containing a QR code to check whether a link may require caution.
Information We Collect
LinkGuard may store scan history locally on your device, including:
URLs manually entered by the user
URLs detected from QR codes scanned by the user
Scan result status, such as Safe, Caution, or Blocked
Scan date and time
Basic analysis results, such as HTTPS usage, short URL detection, and risk factors
This scan history is used only to show previous checks inside the app.
Information We Do Not Collect
LinkGuard does not collect or access:
Browser history
Contacts
SMS or text messages
Call logs
Precise location
Files unrelated to QR image selection
Account passwords or login information
LinkGuard does not monitor links in the background and does not provide real-time browser protection.
Camera Permission
The app may request camera permission to scan QR codes. Camera access is used only while the user is using the QR scan feature.
Image Access
The app may allow the user to select an image from the device in order to detect a QR code. The app only uses the image selected by the user for QR code detection.
External Security API
If Google Safe Browsing or another external security API is enabled, URLs that the user manually enters or scans may be sent to the external security service for security verification.
By default, LinkGuard does not access the user’s browser history. Only links manually entered or scanned by the user are checked.
Advertising
LinkGuard may display ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or use certain device and advertising-related information according to Google’s own policies.
Data Sharing
LinkGuard does not sell personal information. LinkGuard does not share scan history with third parties except when an external security API is used to check a URL, or when advertising services are provided by Google AdMob.
Data Storage and Deletion
Scan history may be stored locally on the user’s device. Users can delete scan history within the app. If the app is uninstalled, locally stored app data may be removed by the operating system.
Children
LinkGuard is not designed specifically for children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

카메라 권한
앱은 QR 코드 스캔을 위해 카메라 권한을 요청할 수 있습니다. 카메라 접근은 사용자가 QR 스캔 기능을 사용하는 동안에만 사용됩니다.
이미지 접근
앱은 QR 코드 인식을 위해 사용자가 선택한 이미지를 사용할 수 있습니다. 앱은 사용자가 직접 선택한 이미지에 대해서만 QR 코드 인식을 수행합니다.
외부 보안 API
Google Safe Browsing 또는 기타 외부 보안 API가 활성화된 경우, 사용자가 직접 입력하거나 스캔한 URL이 보안 확인 목적으로 외부 보안 서비스에 전송될 수 있습니다.
기본적으로 링크가드는 사용자의 브라우저 방문기록에 접근하지 않으며, 사용자가 직접 입력하거나 스캔한 링크만 검사합니다.
광고
링크가드는 Google AdMob을 통해 광고를 표시할 수 있습니다. AdMob은 Google의 정책에 따라 기기 정보 또는 광고 관련 정보를 수집하거나 사용할 수 있습니다.
정보 공유
링크가드는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 외부 보안 API를 통한 URL 확인 또는 Google AdMob 광고 제공을 제외하고, 검사 기록을 제3자에게 판매하거나 공유하지 않습니다.
데이터 저장 및 삭제
검사 기록은 사용자의 기기 내부에 저장될 수 있습니다. 사용자는 앱 내에서 검사 기록을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 앱을 삭제하면 기기에 저장된 앱 데이터는 운영체제에 의해 삭제될 수 있습니다.
아동
링크가드는 아동을 대상으로 특별히 설계된 앱이 아닙니다. 앱은 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.
