LinkedIn Post Helper – Free is a browser extension designed to help users create and improve LinkedIn post content using writing assistance features such as post improvement, professional rewriting, shortening, engagement improvements, hook generation, call-to-action generation, and hashtag generation.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The free version of the Extension does not collect, sell, or share users' personal information with us.
The Extension does not require users to provide:
- LinkedIn passwords
- LinkedIn login credentials
- Credit card information
- Private messages
- Contact lists
- Browsing history
- Personal account credentials
3. USER CONTENT
Text that you enter into the Extension, including LinkedIn post drafts, is processed locally in your browser for the core free features.
The Extension does not transmit your entered post content to our servers in the free version.
4. LOCAL STORAGE
The Extension may use Chrome's storage functionality to save limited information locally, such as:

The Extension does not request or store LinkedIn passwords or login credentials.
The Extension does not automatically publish posts, send messages, send connection requests, like posts, comment on posts, or perform other social actions on behalf of users.
7. PERMISSIONS
The Extension requests only the permissions necessary to provide its functionality.
If Chrome storage permission is used, it is used to save extension settings and recent writing content locally.
If activeTab or LinkedIn-related access is used in a future version, it will only be used for features that require interaction with the currently active LinkedIn page and will not be used to collect unrelated browsing information.
8. DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable steps to protect user information. Because the free version processes core writing functionality locally in the browser, user-generated content is not transmitted to our servers for those features.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Extension is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Extension's functionality changes or when necessary to reflect legal or technical requirements.
