Jessica Lines
4th Grade Special Education
About Me
Hello Wildcats! My name is Jessica Lines, and I am the 4th Grade Special Education Case Manager. This is my third year at Walt Disney, but my first year as a teacher. In November 2020, I left the logistics/transportation field to fulfill my dream of working in education. I was brought on at Disney as a paraprofessional, servicing students through LLI, and in a Fundamental Skills classroom, while I worked to finish school. In January 2022 I graduated from Western Governors University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education, and excitedly look forward to this year's adventures!
I grew up in a very small town in the Hill Country, called Kempner, but also lived in the Tupelo, MS area for about 10 years. My husband (Mike) and I moved to Alvin in October 2019. We have two boys - Logan (21) who currently lives in Virginia where he is serving in the Navy, and Jackson (15) who attends Deer Park High School and plays the trombone in the band. We also have a menagerie of pets - three dogs, 4 barn cats, and 2 rabbits. As a family, we enjoy attending concerts and sporting events, movies, and time on the water.
My goals for my student's this year include: maintaining high expectations through acquiring and implementing learning strategies, making modifications, and creating a community of lifelong learners.
