Maksym Fomichov ("we", "us", or "our") built the Linear Cutting app as a Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by us and is intended for use "AS IS".

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service, as well as the terms and limitations of liability regarding the use of our calculation algorithms.

1. Data Storage and User Privacy

We do not collect or store your personal project data on our servers. All data created within the App, including but not limited to materials, stock inventory, workpiece dimensions, and cutting layouts, is stored locally on your device's internal memory. We have no access to your databases, commercial secrets, or project details. If you choose to export your data (e.g., to PDF or CSV) or create a database backup, the files are generated and saved locally on your device.

2. Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may use third-party services that collect, monitor, and analyze data to improve the App's functionality and deliver personalized content. We do not require you to provide us with any personally identifiable information directly.

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google Play Services: For core Android functionalities.

• Google AdMob: The free version of the App displays ads. AdMob may use device identifiers and cookies to serve personalized ads based on your interests (subject to your GDPR consent choices via the UMP SDK).

• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: We collect anonymous usage data (e.g., which features are used most often, app crashes, and errors) to improve the app's stability and design. This data contains no personally identifiable information.

• Google Play Billing: If you purchase a Premium subscription or a lifetime license, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not have access to your credit card information.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability (IMPORTANT)

The Linear Cutting app is a mathematical tool designed to assist with 1D nesting and cutting optimization. By using this App, you expressly acknowledge and agree to the following:

• No Guarantee of Accuracy: While we strive to provide the most optimal algorithms, the App generates layouts based solely on the mathematical inputs provided by the user. We do not guarantee that the results are 100% flawless, completely free of errors, or suitable for every specific real-world scenario.

• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying and double-checking all generated cutting layouts, dimensions, edge trims, and saw blade widths (kerf) BEFORE making any physical cuts to your materials.

• No Liability for Damages: Under no circumstances shall the developer (Maksym Fomichov) be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this App. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Wasted or damaged physical materials.

  • Financial losses or lost profits.

  • Production delays or miscalculations.

  • Hardware or machinery issues.

BY USING THE APP, YOU ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY PHYSICAL WORK CARRIED OUT BASED ON THE APP'S CALCULATIONS.
