This policy explains what Line Clash (“the Game”, “we”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the Android app published on Google Play and the servers it talks to.
Note on version 1.1.0: Earlier versions of Line Clash collected nothing beyond advertising data. The Game now offers optional accounts, so it can store an email address, a display name and a profile photo. If you never sign in, see section 2 for the much shorter list that applies to you.
𝟭. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻
Everything the Game collects, and when:
• An anonymous account ID — always, from first launch — so we can save your coins and progress
• Display name — always (auto-generated, you can change it) — shown to opponents and on the leaderboard
• Email address — only if you sign in or sign up — to identify your account
• Profile photo — only if you sign in with Google — shown on your own profile
• Game progress and match results — always — for saving progress and the leaderboard
• Advertising identifier and device data — always — collected by Google AdMob to show ads
We do NOT collect your phone number, postal address, contacts, precise GPS location, photos from your device, or any payment details. We do not sell your data.
𝟮. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁
You can play every mode without signing in. When you first open the Game we create an anonymous account for you automatically. This is still a form of data collection, so to be clear about it:
• A random account identifier is created and stored on our servers.
• A placeholder display name (for example “Player 4013”) is generated. You can change it.
• Your coins, gems, level, XP and match statistics are linked to that identifier.
• No email address, name or photo is collected.
A guest account exists only on the device that created it. If you uninstall the Game or switch phones without signing in, that progress is gone and we have no way to restore it.
𝟯. 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁
𝟯.𝟭 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Sign-in is optional. Depending on how you sign in, we receive:
• Guest (automatic) — an anonymous account identifier
• Google — account identifier, email address, Google display name, Google profile photo
• Email and password — account identifier, email address, and the name you enter
We never see your password. Sign-in is handled entirely by Google Firebase Authentication; passwords are stored by Google, not by us.
𝟯.𝟮 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀
Coins, gems, level, XP, matches played, matches won and boxes captured.
𝟯.𝟯 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀
When an online match finishes we store a record of it: the room code, both players’ display names, the final scores, the winner, the number of moves and how long the match lasted.
𝟯.𝟰 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮
The Game shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob collects the following automatically; it goes to Google, not to us:
• Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)
• Device information (model, operating system, language)
• IP address, and the approximate location derived from it
• Ad interactions — views, taps, rewards earned
• Diagnostic and performance information
𝟰. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗲
Your display name is public inside the Game. Opponents see it during a match, and it appears on the global leaderboard. Choose a name you are comfortable showing to strangers.
Your email address, profile photo and account identifier are never shown to other players.
𝟱. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
• To save your progress and restore it when you sign in on another device
• To match you with an opponent and run the match
• To build the global leaderboard
• To display advertisements, through Google AdMob
• To investigate abuse, cheating and offensive names
• To keep the service running and diagnose faults
We do not use your information for profiling beyond the advertising described above, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
𝟲. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱-𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀
• Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) — sign-in, passwords, account identifiers
• AdMob (Google LLC) — advertising
• Google Play services (Google LLC) — Google sign-in on the device
• MongoDB Atlas (MongoDB, Inc.) — stores profiles and match history
• Render (Render Services, Inc.) — hosts the game server
Each of these processes data under its own privacy policy:
Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy
MongoDB: https://www.mongodb.com/legal/privacy-policy
Render: https://render.com/privacy
𝟳. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴
Ads may be personalised or non-personalised depending on your device settings, your region, applicable law and Google’s policies. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, under Settings > Google > Ads. Doing so does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant.
𝟴. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
• Account and progress — until you delete your account.
• Match records — kept as part of game history. When you delete your account your name is removed from them and they become anonymous.
• Inactive guest accounts — may be removed periodically.
• Advertising data — retained by Google under its own policies.
𝟵. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮
In the Game: Open Profile > Account > “Delete my account and data” and confirm. This takes effect immediately.
By email: If you cannot open the Game, email ziauddindeveloper@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my Line Clash account”. We action requests within 30 days.
Deleted: your account, display name, email address, profile photo, coins, gems, level, XP and all match statistics, plus your sign-in credentials at Google Firebase.
Kept: historical match records with your name removed, so they no longer identify you.
Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account afterwards.
𝟭𝟬. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀
• Play without an account. Sign-in is never required.
• Change your display name any time from the profile screen.
• Sign out from the account screen; the Game returns to guest mode.
• Control advertising through your Android settings.
• Request a copy of your data by emailing us.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — to access, correct, export or restrict the processing of your data. Email us and we will help.
𝟭𝟭. 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆
Line Clash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account with an email address, contact us and we will delete it.
Because ads are served by Google AdMob, advertising behaviour may vary with age, region, consent requirements and applicable law.
𝟭𝟮. 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆
All traffic between the Game and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS and secure WebSockets). Passwords are never stored by us. Access to the player database is restricted. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
𝟭𝟯. 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀
Our service providers operate globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States.
𝟭𝟰. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate announced in the Game.
