I'm a Mechanical Engineer working on fiber-reinforced composites, with focus on structure optimization and manufacturing process automatization. I obtained my Master on advanced technical textiles engineering from Gent University (Belgium) in 2006 and my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University Dresden (Germany) in 2011. After working as a Postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology at the TU Dresden, I joined the ARC Training Center for Automated Manufacture of Advanced Composites (AMAC) at UNSW in 2017.
