Lin Gui (桂林) is currently an Assistant Professor (UK Lecturer) at King's College London, the Department of Informatics. Before joining KCL, he was an Assistant Professor (2021-2022) and Marie Curie Research Fellow (2018-2020) at the Univeristy of Warwick. His research interests include:
Sentiment analysis and opinion mining
Transfer learning and multi-task learning
Emotion cause detection
Model interpretation
Topic modelling
Lin Gui currently hosts an EPSRC project (PI) and actively looks for PhD students and postdocs to work with him.
