A Letter From Shaheem

Hey everyone!

My name is Shaheem Nuraj, and I am excited to be your chair for the UNICEF committee. UNICEF is a United Nations agency dedicated to advocating for the rights and protection of children worldwide. UNICEF works to ensure every child has access to basic necessities like clean water, proper healthcare, nutrition, and quality education.

Now, a little about me, I am a senior at LAMP and have been involved with MUN for the last 4 years. I really like watching soccer and my goat is Cristiano Ronaldo. My favorite teletubby is the green teletubby because he looks funny and did I mention that he's green. I really enjoy making people smile and laugh. I intend on majoring in Public Health and Political science. I'm a youth delegate for ECOSOC and have spoken as a representative of youth all around the world a few times. I also do health policy research outside of school and I am the president of the UNICEF club at our school.

I am extremely excited to meet everyone and connect with new faces. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out
