A Letter From Mahi

Hey Delegates!

I'm Mahi Patel, a junior, and I'm so excited to be chairing WHO this year! I had great experiences at LIMUN my freshman and sophomore years, and I really hope you do as well.

The World Health Organization is the United Nations agency responsible for global public health. In this committee, we will be addressing issues such as disease outbreaks, access to medicine, and healthcare inequality. I expect delegates to come prepared with researched positions, speak with confidence, and work together to come up with solutions.

A little about me:

• I am a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo.

• I love doing all kinds of art in my free time.

• I participate in various extracurriculars, including HOSA, DECA, and Speech and Debate.

• I have been playing soccer since freshman year.

• My favorite movie is Om Shanti Om, an amazing Bollywood movie.

One last thing: I'd rather hear you speak up and be a little wrong than watch you sit there and not speak at all. Come prepared, come curious, and let's have fun with it.
