A Letter From Jacob

Greetings Future Delegates,

My name is Jacob Henderson, and I’ll be your chair for The Gods of OlympMUN this year. I’m currently in my Senior year here at LAMP, and this will be my fourth time participating in LIMUN and my second time leading a part of it.

My Fun Facts/Opinions:

• Mint chocolate chip is the best ice cream when you don’t have a rat in your ear telling you it tastes like toothpaste

• My favorite color is lavender

• Loki is the single best series out there and Interstellar is undoubtedly worth the 3 hours it takes to watch it

• Aditya and I will be going to Nationals for Public Forum Debate

• Gojira is unmatched.

• I have represented Russia in two of my three LIMUN experiences

Now it’s time for what most of you probably came here for: what is OlympMUN going to be like? For that I have one question: have you participated in a Socratic Seminar? If yes, imagine one of those, but everyone is representing their own god or goddess from Greek mythology. If you haven’t, imagine twenty people acting as if they are the most notable figures from Greek myths, all working together to solve pressing issues of their time, in a United Nations conference format.

I can’t wait to see how well you all perform in our debates!

Best wishes,

Jacob Henderson
