A Letter From Evelyn

Hello delegates!

My name is Evelyn Medina and I’m excited to be your UNEP chair this year at LIMUN XL!

UNEP is a beginner committee so it might be helpful for people who feel like they need more guidance with parliamentary procedures or those who don’t want to go too fast through committee. UNEP primarily deals with pressing environmental international issues so be prepared to debate about a wide range of environmental issues.

A little more about myself:

•  I am a senior so this will be my second time chairing and I’m so excited to see where our committee will go!

• I love baking so I sometimes prepare treats for my friend. (Let me know and I can bake it!)

• I can play the guitar more specifically the acoustic guitar.

• Finally, I love reading books and my favorites are classics so think Scarlet Letter and Great Gatsby.

One last note: Remember that your participation is what will make this committee truly fun and engaging. I know many of you do not like public speaking–trust me I get it–but coming prepared and ready to work will make a big difference! LIMUN is a great experience and if you give it your all, it will be an amazing experience. I look forward to seeing all of you!

Sincerely,

Evelyn Medina
