OBJECTIFS | GOALS
LIMBO se veut être un programme de formation et d’affirmation destiné aux jeunes passionnés d’art en général, et de cinéma en particulier. Cette structure embryonnaire a été conçue par Fabrice BEKONO, jeune réalisateur et lauréat du concours "10 jours pour un film" organisé par l'Institut Goethe et le festival Écrans Noirs, dont il est sorti vainqueur en 2021. Ce programme vise à sensibiliser les jeunes à travers l’auto-découverte et la réalisation de divers projets artistiques, avec pour objectif de conserver et promouvoir les valeurs esthétiques liées à l'esprit et aux réalités universelles.
LIMBO aims to be a training and empowerment program for young people passionate about art in general and cinema in particular. It is an embryonic structure conceived by Fabrice BEKONO, a young director who emerged as the winner of the "10 Days for a Film" competition organized by the Goethe Institute and the Ecrans Noirs festival in 2021. This program seeks to raise awareness among young people through self-discovery and the realization of various artistic projects aimed at conserving and promoting aesthetic values related to the spirit and universal realities.

LIMBO se traduit littéralement en français par "Limbes" et se définit comme un état de flou et d’incertitude. La religion donne un tout autre sens à ce terme, le désignant d’une part comme le plus dense et complexe des labyrinthes, et d’autre part comme un espace de repos, dédié à une certaine catégorie d’âmes après la mort. Le projet est appelé LIMBO, promettant une certaine profondeur, noirceur et originalité des créations de ses membres. Il en dit également beaucoup sur l’origine de ces derniers : le fond d’un être, les secrets et les peurs du monde dans lequel nous vivons.
LIMBO literally translates into French as “Limbes” and is defined as a state of vagueness and uncertainty. Religion gives a whole new meaning to this term, designating it on the one hand as the densest and most complex of labyrinths, and on the other as a resting place, dedicated to a certain category of souls after death. The project is called LIMBO, promising a certain depth, darkness, and originality in the creations of its members. It also says a lot about the origin of these creations: the depths of a being, the secrets, and fears of the world in which we live.
