The purpose of LightWriters Photo Club is to allow photographers to gather, socialize, share and discuss their work, look at photo gear and accessories, consider photo locations, and learn techniques from other photographers. Monthly challenges include a scheduled calendar challenge, and a surprise challenge presented at the monthly meeting. Challenges are shared and discussed at the monthly meetings held the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM at Round Table Pizza, Browns Valley Road, Vacaville CA. Mambership is free. Members include professional to novice photographers using cameras renging from high-end cameras to cell phone cameras. Each month, a photographic technique is introduced and examples given. These techniques will be applicable, in most cases, to smart-phone cameras as well as professional gear. All challenges can be met with any kind of modern camera.
