Whether it is a mobile or desktop preset, they both work the same but the only difference is you need DNG files to use them on mobile whereas Lightroom CC & Classic support .XMP format. Also, you need a creative cloud subscription plan to use presets on Desktop but there is no need of subscription plans when it comes using presets in the FREE Lightroom Mobile App

Enhancing your photos using presets is quick and easy, but did you know you can add user presets to your Lightroom presets panel? Quickly download and import presets from other creators in Lightroom for mobile and expand your presets library.

If you have subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud plan and are signed in using the Adobe ID, the user presets you create in the Lightroom Desktop app will automatically sync to your Lightroom mobile apps via cloud storage.

You need to use lightroom cc (not classic) on your desktop to transfer them. Create presets in classic. Then import them into cc. Then they sync to mobile. Not ideal, actually a huge pain in the butt But it finally works.

Our Mobile Lightroom Preset collections are developed for both free Adobe Lightroom App users and paid Creative Cloud Subscribers who use both desktop and mobile. Included in each Preset pack are both DNG files (for free app users) and XMP files (for paid CC users/desktop users).

Yes, each collection comes with both DNG files (for mobile use on the free app) and XMP files (for both desktop and mobile use). The XMP files can be installed and used on desktop in Creative Cloud, but should only be on Jpeg files.

The day has finally come, and we have been waiting for this feature FOREVER!  So how could we not post about the ability to use Pretty Presets for Lightroom in Lightroom CC for mobile devices!!

You won't be able to sync your presets directly from Lightroom Classic CC to the Lightroom CC Mobile App. You will need to use the Lightroom CC Desktop App as a middle man of sorts to get them there. If you are a Creative Cloud subscriber, you DO have access to download this app.

If you have previously installed your presets in the Lightroom CC Desktop Application, you are one step ahead. When you open up the Desktop App after installing or updating both the mobile and desktop Lightroom apps with the current version, your presets should now be automatically synced to the Lightroom CC Mobile App.

4. To finish this process, select the zipped folder of presets you would like to add to your Lightroom mobile applications and then click Import. These presets will now be available in Lightroom CC and your Lightroom CC mobile app.

3. Once you click on the Presets section, it will open to a random preset collection. I have noticed the presets will not usually be in the same order they appear in your Lightroom Classic CC - but they will ALL be there.

The collection name will be listed at the top of the preset menu with the individual presets listed below, and you can scroll through all your available presets. To apply a preset, simply tap the preset name.

4. To change the collection of presets, tap on the collection name at the top of the preset options. Doing that will bring up a list of all the preset collections. Select the preset collection you want, and you will be taken to a list of the presets in that collection.

With the new update, you can now manage which presets you see in your presets menu! I LOVE that I can now turn off all the default presets that come with Lightroom since I prefer using my Presets from Pretty Presets - they are SO MUCH BETTER!

2. Click on the three dots (. . .) at the top of the Presets menu and select the "Manage Presets" option. This will open a list of all the presets you installed with a small check box next to each one.

Keep in mind that Lightroom adjustment brush presets are still not able to be used in any of the Lightroom CC Desktop and Mobile versions (you can currently only use brushes in Lightroom Classic). So, to use brushes in Lightroom, you will need to make sure you have Lightroom Classic CC installed and use your brushes there.

Lately I've been using Lightroom on my iPhone for editing. It works great, very similar as the desktop version. However, I have a lot of presets (such as Portra 400 and Kodachrome) that I don't know how to get them in Lightroom in my phone. I've tried the VSCO app but it doesn't give good results with the M9 DNG files.

Update: I found a way to transfer presets bij saving an edited picture as DNG, sent it to my phone and then upload in Lightroom mobile and save the settings as a new preset. Though this doesn't work for camera profiles.

Gorgeously transform your photos with a single click. These Adobe Lightroom presets are fully adjustable giving you complete control over the final result. They are easy to install and even easier to use. The mobile version of Lightroom will automatically sync with Lightroom CC. So, if you have an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription you can use the presets on desktop too.

When creating presets in Lightroom mobile, you can either start from scratch or build on an existing preset. Dial in your adjustments for contrast, highlights, shadows, or any other settings until the photo is edited to your liking. We recommend leaving exposure and white balance adjustments out of your preset as those tend to change from scene to scene and may not apply as universally as the other settings. You can always make a quick adjustment to the exposure and/or white balance after applying your preset.

Lightroom is the best way to edit your photos. It's powerful, easy, and takes less time. It's your best bet for editing stunning photos for your Instagram and blog. I'm going to show you how to create your own presets in Lightroom and how you can then sell those on your own!

The best part? The Lightroom mobile app is completely free! I'm going to show you how to create presets in desktop as well as mobile Lightroom. Then, I'll walk you through step-by-step how to sell your own custom presets.

Lightroom presets are simply a collection of edits that you can apply to your photos. Think of them as filters. Now let's say you edit a photo: you add contrast, brightness, decrease the shadows, lower the temperature, deepen the oranges, make the greens a bit more yellow, dehaze the sky, and add a touch of grain to the photo. Let's say you love this effect so much, you know you might want to apply it to another photo. You can simply save that preset so you can do it again and again, without going through all the steps.

If you want to get started in Lightroom I've created the ULTIMATE guide! A collection of 140 presets (70 for desktop and 70 for mobile) along with a full video course on exactly how to use them, edit them, and create your signature style. It's called the Lightroom Vault and it's only open for a limited time!

(Classic CC) or, if you don't intend to sell your presets, you can also just use Lightroom Mobile, which is the free version of Lightroom. Keep in mind, the mobile version of Lightroom isn't quite as advanced.

Make sure that you stay true to yourself. I believe the best Lightroom presets are the ones that work well for a variety of lighting and camera settings. I recommend not going overboard on the exposure, or too heavy on the saturation. Remember, these presets can still be edited even after they are applied.

I recommend that you either name it numerically, such as your name and the number or what it invokes: a travel scene, a wedding presets, etc. When you name your preset, it will ask you if you want to save all of the edits you created, you can check or uncheck the boxes. Tap the Group menu and choose or create a group for your preset. The default group for presets you create is the User Presets group.

Now, if you want to create a Lightroom preset in mobile, you can do the same, all in the mobile app, with a few different steps. Remember, presets you create inside the mobile app, you cannot sell because you cannot export them. e24fc04721
