Lifetime Sports

Welcome to Lifetime sports, this class was created in order to give insight to and gain interests in activities, sports, and games that can be enjoyed as lifelong en devours. The aim of t he class is to get outside and enjoy what nature, parks and rec, and open space has to offer. We work closely with other entities within the city, county and surrounding areas in order to provide opportunities for our students to experience activities that are close by. This class does take more field trips than others in order to enrich the educational experience. We are able to place students in practical application of skills and knowledge that they obtain in the units taught. Some field trips that we have taken in the past include, golfing, bowling, hiking, fishing, and more... Though we not always guaranteed all fields trips every year we do our best to make sure that students have the opportunity to experience the outdoors through the class. It is our hope that students come away from this class with a greater appreciation of the skills and activities that we teach over the year and hopefully pick up a few activities that students will continue to partake in as a lifetime activity.
