The Life Sciences Research Symposium provides an opportunity for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to present their research through speed talks and oral presentations, according to the general format of remote scientific conferences. It is an important event to promote student excellence and collaboration among researchers across the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Computer Science, Psychology, Mathematics and Statistics, and Environmental and Sustainable Engineering. The Life Sciences Research Symposium will take place remotely on Friday January 22, 2020 via Zoom. We are excited to be able to feature two distinguished guests in our keynote lectures: Dr. Shirley Malcolm of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and Dr. Hashim Al-Hashimi of Duke University.
