Situated in Scotland's Inner Hebrides the Isle Of Luing is an island of breathtaking natural beauty, incredible wildlife and a strong community. This seemingly idyllic island does have its drawbacks however. The island is only accessible by ferry, has no pub or major shops and is about 40 minutes from the nearest big town. This project investigates the problems the community faces and the ways they overcome them to remain living on Luing.

In this episode I investigate how the students of Oban high school travel over 15 miles travel to school each day and look at the problems facing workers on the island.
This episode looks at how the islanders let their hair down and socialise. With opportunities off the island limited the island plays host to a wide range of events and gatherings.
