This Privacy Policy applies to the LifeGame mobile application ("the App"), provided by jigsaw. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), where applicable.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
LifeGame does not require account registration or log-in. Your game progress and settings—including your player name, career, assets, investments, company data, choices, and other simulation records—are stored locally on your device.
This locally stored game data is not uploaded to or synchronized with a LifeGame-operated server.
Important: If you uninstall the App, clear its storage/data, reset your device, or lose the device, your saved game data may be permanently deleted and cannot be restored unless your device platform provides its own backup mechanism.
2. Information Processed Automatically
The App uses third-party services for advertising, app configuration, notifications, and optional AI features. These services may automatically process limited technical information such as:
Device and app information, such as device model, operating system, app version, and language settings
Network information, including IP address and approximate location derived from it
Identifiers used for advertising, Firebase installations, or service operation
Advertisement interactions, diagnostics, crash-related information, and service performance data
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
LifeGame displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Depending on your device settings, consent choices, region, and Google’s policies, AdMob may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, approximate location derived from an IP address, ad interactions, and diagnostic information.
This information is processed by Google for purposes such as delivering advertisements, measuring ad performance, preventing fraud, and improving advertising services. Personalized ads may be limited or disabled according to your consent and device privacy settings.
4. Firebase Services
The App may use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications and Firebase Remote Config to provide or adjust app configuration. These services may process Firebase installation identifiers and technical information required to operate their functions.
LifeGame does not currently use Firebase Authentication for user accounts and does not use Firebase Analytics to create a LifeGame user profile.
5. Optional AI Life Report
If you choose to generate an AI Life Report, the App sends a limited summary of your in-game status and decisions to the Google Gemini API so that the report can be generated. The submitted summary may include your in-game player name, age, level, career, education, housing, assets, company status, and recent in-game decisions.
The App does not intentionally send your phone number, email address, contacts, precise location, or full device contents for this feature. Do not enter sensitive personal information as your player name or in any game field that may be included in an AI report.
The AI Life Report feature is optional. If you do not use it, no game summary is sent to the Gemini API for report generation.
6. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Limited information may be processed by the following third-party providers only as needed to provide their services:

7. Data Retention and Deletion
LifeGame does not maintain a server-side copy of your saved game. Local game data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App.
Information processed by Google services is retained according to Google’s applicable terms, privacy policy, and product-specific retention practices. Requests concerning data controlled by Google should be directed to Google through the privacy controls and contact methods it provides.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable measures within the App to limit the information sent to third parties. However, no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
LifeGame is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through an optional feature, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
10. Your Privacy Choices
You may control advertising personalization through your device and Google privacy settings. Where required, the App may present a consent choice before personalized advertising is used. You may also choose not to use the optional AI Life Report feature.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
