Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle massage that assists the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries the waste away from the effected area and back towards the heart. MLD relieves swelling that can happen when medical treatment or illness blocks the lymphatic system. MLD is effective as a postoperative rehabilitation treatment and can also be used for preventative care.
