Life Lessons Journal (“the App”) is a personal journaling application that helps you record and organize life lessons on your device. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
We do not collect personal information from you.
The App does not:
Require an account or sign-in
Collect your name, email, phone number, or other contact details
Collect location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers for our use
Use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services that send your data to us
Upload your journal content to our servers
All journal content you create is stored locally on your device only, including:
Lesson titles and descriptions
Categories and tags
Favorites and pinned lessons
Wisdom score and achievement progress
App preferences (such as theme)
This data stays on your device and is managed through the device’s local storage. We do not have access to it.
Your locally stored data is used only to provide App features on your device, such as:
Saving and displaying your lessons
Searching, filtering, and organizing entries
Showing insights, statistics, and daily wisdom
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or journal content with third parties, because we do not collect it.
The App may rely on standard platform services provided by Google (Android) or Apple (iOS) as part of installing and running apps on your device. Those platforms have their own privacy policies.
The App currently contains no advertisements and does not use in-app purchases or subscription billing.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect personal data, children’s journal entries also remain only on the device where they are written.
Because your content is stored on your device, its security depends on your device’s lock screen, OS updates, and any backups you choose to make (for example, through your phone’s built-in backup features). We recommend keeping your device secured with a passcode, biometric lock, or equivalent.
You can delete individual lessons or categories inside the App.
Uninstalling the App typically removes the App’s locally stored data from that device (unless retained by your device’s backup system).
Since we do not store your journal data on our servers, we cannot remotely delete or recover it for you.
The App does not intentionally send your journal data to third-party services. If future versions add optional features that involve the internet or third parties, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are used to process personal data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
