About the Library
TCP Library aspires to enable access to quality resources of all kinds and provides responsive and effective services to the demands of the academic community. Library staff works closely with faculty and academic units to recognize their needs and create pleasant learning environment. Library offers context-based services from time to time based on the programs offered by the college. The library is partially automated with Rovan automation software. The staff and students visit the library as often as possible for reference and for research. The Student-teachers also avail the facility of book bank to borrow books.

Library Features
Automation: The library is partialy automated with Rovan Software System.
OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue): Users can access the library catalogue through the web. They can check/do the following activites themself

Question Bank: The librarian takes concerted effort to collate all the question papers of University examinations of previous years and compiles them orderly. The student-teachers have an access to them.
Newspaper Clippings: The librarian goes through the newspapers and collects relevant news items related to education, employment opportunities, socio-cultural issues, current issues, etc. and displays them on the notice board. It is also documented systematically.
Digital Library: The College has taken efforts to digitalize its library collection. There are 3 computers available for the student-teachers to access electronic resources such as N-List & Delnet Consortium. The library has also internet and Wi-Fi connection for the library users.
Library Record: All student teachers maintain library records, where they document the gist of the books read.
Library Working Hours
Monday to Friday : 9am to 5.30pm
Saturday : 9am to 4pm
Closed on Second Saturday of the month and public holidays
