I am an Acting Professor of Economics (Vertretungsprofessor) at Universität Hamburg and an Assistant Professor at Leuphana University Lüneburg (on leave). I work on topics in labour, family, and gender economics. My research examines how social norms and institutions shape economic behaviour and contribute to inequality, particularly along gender lines. To generate policy-relevant insights, I combine methods from behavioural and experimental economics with analyses of survey and administrative data.
