2025 Highlights

Seminars & Panels

On October 14, 2025, I hosted the MCET Pre-COP 30 Seminar - Americas Session on clean energy transitions in Latin America as part of our Environmental Defense Fund Economics Seminar Series. Our network work connects directly to understanding how energy policy design affects economic transitions and equity, critical as we approach COP 30. (Recording)

Participated as a panelist in EAERE 2025: Science-Policy-Business Session entitled “How climate policies are shaping the future of the labour market”  in Bergen on June 16. This session was chaired by Simone Borghesi (University of Siena, European University Institute, and EAERE), and Joisa Campanher Dutra Saraiva (Fundação Getulio Vargas), Mi Ah Schøyen (OsloMet), and Alessia Fulvimari (European Commission) completed the panel. 

I participated as a panelist in the AERE virtual panel: "Mind Matters: Managing stress, expectations, and health in grad school (poster)" on Feb 17, 2025!

I presented my paper "Carbon Taxation, Green Jobs, and Sectoral Human Capital" at AERE@EEA 2025. Also, I discussed "Tourism, economic development, and land use change" by Manuel Linsenmeier.
