Issues

Weather errors

  • If you're unable to get weather info, first make sure your Fitbit is connected and synced to your phone (make sure it has synced recently), and then try opening and closing any app on the watch, like Weather or Settings (to reload the watchface). After that you should be able to return to the watch face and see a working weather widget.

    • Clock face permissions. Make sure that all permissions are turned on in the ‎Infograph permission settings.

    • Fitbit app location permission. To make sure Fitbit can always access your location to provide weather information: open your Settings app on your phone, scroll down on the main page until you see the Fitbit app, then tap on it, tap on Location, and set the option to Always.

    • A focused connection. I find that my Fitbit often won't sync if my phone is also connected to another Bluetooth device, like a different fitness tracker. Make sure your device is connected in your phone's Bluetooth settings, and is also syncing properly with the app, and that there are none others like it currently connected.

    • Is it just the watchface? Try opening a stock app on your Fitbit, like Weather, and see if it displays anything. If not, then your problem may be more extensive than just Infograph.

    • If none of this works, you can try switching to a different clock face and back. If your device connection has been very problematic, you can try restarting the Fitbit, or, you can remove your Fitbit from your Fitbit account, forget it in your Bluetooth settings,‎ and then try re-pairing it.

    • Deleting and reinstalling the entire Fitbit app may work as well.

Unresponsive face

If your watch face looks like this, there has been some issue loading it, but I can't determine why. The best approach would probably be to reinstall the watch face. To do that, just select a different face, go back to Infograph, remove it, and reinstall it from the store.

FAQ

Will it get Always On Display functionality?

While I would have liked to implement this alongside the 1.4 update, it seems quite difficult to acquire AOD permissions, test them, and submit them. You can see the complexity of the whole process in this forum. I do plan on adding an Always On Display mode, now that I've figured out how to get it working. You can check the Product Progress page to see the development progress for the next update.

Is it coming to the Versa 3 / Sense?

I do plan on making a version of Infograph for the newer Fitbit devices, but this version will have to be rebuilt, due to the newer SDK only the newer devices support, as well as their bigger resolution and pronounced screen curvature.
