This Privacy Policy explains how LexisCleaner ("LexisCleaner", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the LexisCleaner mobile application (the "App" or "Services").
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
**Scope of This Policy**
This Policy applies to LexisCleaner and its in-app features, including junk file cleaning, large file scanning, duplicate photo detection, battery information, app process information, notification cleaning, speaker cleaning, flashlight controls, cleanup reminders, analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and advertising-related services where enabled.
Certain processing may be carried out by third-party service providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
**Information We Collect**
**Information you provide**
- Contact information, such as your email address, if you contact us for support, feedback, or privacy requests.
- Any information you voluntarily include in messages sent to us.
**Device and app information**
- Device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, country/region inferred from device or network signals, and general device settings.
- App diagnostics, crash logs, performance data, feature usage, screens viewed, taps, session duration, and in-app events.
- Device identifiers or advertising identifiers where permitted by your device settings and applicable law.
**Storage and file information**
LexisCleaner may scan files on your device to provide cleaning features, including junk files, APK files, temporary files, log files, large files, and duplicate or similar photos. The App may process file names, paths, sizes, timestamps, media metadata, and image similarity features locally to display scan results and help you choose what to clean.
LexisCleaner does not upload your personal files or photos to our servers for cleaning or duplicate detection. File scanning and duplicate photo matching are designed to run on your device.
**Photo and media information**
If you grant photo/media permission, LexisCleaner may access your images to find duplicate or similar photos. We use this access to show duplicate groups, previews, file size, resolution, and modified time, and to request system deletion confirmation when you choose to delete selected photos.
**App usage and installed app information**
If you grant usage access or where Android permits package visibility, LexisCleaner may read app usage or installed app information to show app cache, running/recent apps, uninstall suggestions, and cleanup reminders. This may include app names, package names, last-used times, cache estimates, and related diagnostics.
**Notification information**
If you enable notification access, LexisCleaner may read active notifications on your device to show clearable notifications and allow you to clean selected notifications. Notification access is used only to provide the Notification Cleaner feature. We do not sell notification content.
**Battery, audio, vibration, and flashlight information**
LexisCleaner may read system battery status, charging state, temperature, voltage, and related battery information provided by Android. Speaker Cleaner may temporarily adjust media volume, play a local cleaning sound, and use vibration while the cleaning cycle is active. Flashlight controls may use the device camera/torch API to turn the flashlight on or off from the App or foreground notification.
**Approximate location**
We do not collect precise GPS-level location. Third-party analytics or advertising providers may infer approximate location from IP address or device/network signals for analytics, fraud prevention, security, ad delivery, or legal compliance.
**How We Use Information**
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve LexisCleaner and its cleaning, scanning, battery, notification, speaker, flashlight, and reminder features.
- Display scan results, file sizes, duplicate photo groups, app usage information, and battery status.
- Delete or request deletion of files, photos, notifications, or app-related data only when you choose to perform a cleaning action or grant the required permission.
- Analyze app performance, crashes, reliability, and feature usage.
- Configure app behavior, experiments, or notification content through remote configuration.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
- Respond to support requests and privacy requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
- Deliver advertising or measure advertising performance where enabled and permitted by law.
**Permissions We Request**
Depending on your Android version and the features you use, LexisCleaner may request or rely on the following permissions or system access:
- All files access / storage access: to scan and clean junk files, APK files, temporary files, log files, and large files.
- Photo/media access: to scan duplicate or similar photos and show image previews.
- Usage access: to estimate app cache, show recent/running app information, and support app cleanup or optimization features.
- Notification listener access: to display and clear selected app notifications.
- Modify audio settings: to temporarily raise media volume during speaker cleaning.
- Package visibility or delete package requests: to display installed apps and support uninstall-related features.
You can grant, deny, or revoke permissions in Android system settings. Some features may not work without the related permission.
**Legal Bases for Processing**
Where applicable, such as in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: to provide the App and features you request.
- Legitimate interests: to improve the App, maintain security, prevent fraud, debug issues, and understand feature performance.
- Consent: for permissions, personalized advertising, analytics, or notification access where consent is required.

Local scan results, cache data, duplicate photo features, and cleaning state may be stored on your device and can be cleared by using the App, Android app settings, or uninstalling the App. Analytics, crash, and diagnostics data may be retained by our service providers according to their retention policies and then deleted, aggregated, or anonymized.
**Security**
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
**Children's Privacy**
LexisCleaner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or a higher age where required by local law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
**International Data Transfers**
Information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other legally recognized mechanisms.
