Moriko is confident, bold, and caring. When she gets an attachment to someone or something, she protects them with her life.

Moriko awoke as a Wyld Hunt Valiant. Her mission: to help the Echovald Forest in Cantha.

Moriko loved to travel, and she rarely spent time at The Grove. At first, she limited her travels to the Tarnished Coast where she helped to fight off Risen invasions, but eventually she branched out, delving deep into dangerous areas like the Magus Falls. It was here, in the Heart of Maguuma, where she learned to become a Druid. Later, she began traveling the world. Wherever she went, she brought along her magical Druid staff and a large pack of salves and herbal remedies, just in case. During the Battle of Lion's Arch, Moriko rushed to the aid of the refugees to act as a field medic.

Once the siege had ended, the Breachmaker pierced the ley-line under Lion's Arch. The resulting magical pulse roused the Elder Jungle Dragon, Mordremoth. The beast began attacking the Tyrian mainland, and Moriko traveled all around once again, this time to help those in need. However, she caught wind of an army that was mobilizing forces against the Jungle Dragon: the Pact. Moriko traveled to the Silverwastes, where she joined up with the Pact as a volunteer medic.

When the Pact fleet was attacked during the invasion of Maguuma, Moriko and her fellow crewmembers of their ship survived, with varying degrees of injuries. Her prior experience as a field medic was instrumental in helping mend and heal up the survivors of her ship. She knew the jungle better than any other Sylvari in the Pact, and she further assisted the Pact by helping construct battle plans for the continuing fight. These acts helped her gain the trust of her comrades during a time where any Sylvari could have turned on their comrades.

After much fighting, the campaign to pierce deep into the Heart of Thorns came to an end. The Pact Commander finally defeated the Jungle Dragon. Moriko could feel the jungle around her struggling to adjust to its new state without the influence of Mordremoth. But most importantly, she was finally able to rest, for a spell.

With this new fear of the Elder Dragons instilled in her, Moriko had taken part in the upcoming campaigns against Kralkatorrik, Jormag, and Primordus. Once those dragons had been dealt with, and Tyria was finally free of the Elder Dragons, Moriko turned her sights southward, to Cantha, where her Wyld Hunt laid and the final Elder Dragon lived.

It was here in these lands that Moriko met her current wife, Jade Saiuki, a Willbender.
