Mayflower (or May for short) is kind, friendly, and welcoming to most. She tries her best to defend the weak and disenfranchised, and looks down on anything that uses innocents for their own purposes. This also applies to animals, and May is a vegetarian because of it.

Her nightly glow is unlike that of other Sylvari. For one, she glows in the daytime as well. This is because her glow is caused by an inner burning guardian flame that shines through the thinner parts of her skin. When her internal fire is not burning, May's natural bio-luminescence takes over, and her glow is yellow instead.

While in her Dream, May fought against a dark force spreading across the land. She was weak and powerless to stop it, but someone appeared next to her. They raised their hand, and a brilliant display formed above their head. A glorious mantra, encircled by New Krytan script. May read the words., and they filled her with resolve. The specter chanted. "Respite. Recover. Return." Suddenly, both the mysterious person and May were shielded from the darkness, and a searing blue flame ignited outward from the specter, pushing the darkness away and revealing the way forward. May walked the path of Liberation, and Solace, and she raised her fist, channeling the same mantra.

Respite. Recover. Return.

Her pod opened up, and she stepped outside, glowing with a brilliant blue flame.

May gained the powers of the Firebrand, and traveled to the newly reopened human kingdom of Elona to hone her abilities.

Nowadays, May uses her Firebrand magic on personal crusades, protecting the weak and vanquishing darkness.
