Personality

Asumi is extremely flirty, extremely vain, and goes through great pains to make herself look beautiful. She is in love with Maiko Takumi, whom she considers to be exceedingly beautiful (though obviously not more than herself.) Like Maiko, Asumi enjoys acquiring partners for sex.

Backstory

Asumi Moto is an angelic being, once one of Dwayna's minions. Originally a human from Cantha, she prayed to Dwayna every morning and every night until the goddess herself answered. Dwayna noticed that Asumi's piety was equal in part to her beauty, and judged her fit to become an avatar.

And so Asumi served faithfully under Dwayna, even up until the goddess's departure. Eventually, Asumi realized she was sick of tending to Dwayna's domain when she wasn't even present and escaped through a rift back to Cantha in the real world, where she incapacitated a nearby guard and stole his weapons. Brandishing dual swords, ready to cut her way to revenge, she met Maiko Takumi. Maiko used her supernatural intuition to appeal to Asumi's good side, and she was talked out of her revenge plot. The two immediately bonded.

Unfortunately, the two were found out, and immediately were set to be killed as part of Cantha's ongoing effort to purge non-humans from their borders. And so the couple fled for Tyria.

Today, Maiko and Asumi are searching for ways to return Cantha, and they are immensely hopeful that the actions of a certain commander will make that possible for them.
