Anna Camellia was born, along with her twin Alexander, to a wealthy family in Divinity’s Reach. With this nobility, her parents spared no expense on her education. Anna was educated in all manner of things: the arts, the history of Tyria, alchemy, various forms of magic, and many other things for the first 18 years of her life. Unfortunately, poor Anna had to endure all of it despite being a relatively slow learner, and she struggled to finish her education.

Anna managed to succeed against all odds and came out knowledgeable enough to be a scholar in her own right. She began touring the land, researching topics for her papers before she realized she would rather be singing tales of courage and valor with panache. She went back to school, this time on her own time and out of her own pocket, and learned how to sing.

She turned out to be excellent at it, and she became a minor musical artist, mostly only well-known in Divinity's Reach. However, she was determined to get her name out there, and so she embarked once again on a journey to sing to the world. During an overnight stay in Gendarren, the town she was set to perform in came under attack by centaurs, and she was forced to hide.

Soon, a Seraph company rolled into to repel the invaders. Anna reluctantly came out of hiding to watch the company fight. Inspired by their bravery, Anna joined the fray, instrument in hand, and sung inspiring poems to bolster the defense.

With Anna's abilities, combined with the Seraph's fighting prowess, the invasion was successfully quelled. As Anna was settling down, she locked eyes with a particularly beautiful Seraph woman who was in the process of taking her helmet off. Anna's jaw dropped at the sight. She was infatuated with everything about this woman. Her ruby red hair, her piercing gaze, everything. The Seraph woman approached Anna, who had begun fidgeting with nervousness. That woman's name was Ella Turnberry.

The two talked for a while, and soon bid each other farewell. But Anna had done something uncharacteristic. While Ella was preparing to leave, Anna snuck a slip of paper into her bag. It detailed a time, date, and location. She had signed the slip and adorned with a lipstick mark for good measure.

On that exact date, at that exact time, Anna looked out across the crowd of people as she took to the stage. Just as she began to sing, the notes nearly caught in her throat, for right at the back of the crowd, she noted a particular woman with ruby red hair smiling up at her...
